Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to the contract concluded between you and i-Detect Game GbR for use of the online mystery game "The Louvre Heist - The Coup of the Century".

2. Subject matter of the contract

The subject matter of the contract is access to the online game "The Louvre Heist - The Coup of the Century", developed and operated by i-Detect Game GbR. The game is browser-based and can be started with an access code. The code is valid for one playthrough. Several devices may use the same access code as part of one team.

3. Conclusion of contract

You select a game package on our website and enter your payment and contact details. After payment and confirmation, we send you an access code by email. The contract is concluded when this access code is sent.

4. Scope of services

We provide the online game "The Louvre Heist - The Coup of the Century". It consists of interactive puzzles, story elements and decisions that you can play directly in your browser. Use requires a current browser (we recommend Chrome; Firefox, Safari or Edge are also suitable) and a stable internet connection. We do not guarantee full functionality on mobile devices.

5. Price and payment

The current price purchases one access code. The access code is valid for one playthrough. The price is a one-time price per playthrough, regardless of the number of participating players. Once the game has been completed, the code cannot be used for another playthrough.

6. Usage and activation period

After receiving the access code, you may start the game at any time. The access code has no expiration date as long as the game has not been fully completed.

7. Liability and warranty

Our liability is governed by statutory provisions. In cases of slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations, our liability is limited to the typically foreseeable damage. Warranty rights apply in accordance with the law.

8. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer under German law, you have a statutory right of withdrawal. A consumer within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that predominantly are outside their trade, business or profession. You may withdraw your contractual declaration within 14 days without giving any reason. However, the right of withdrawal expires early if the digital content is not supplied on a physical medium and we have begun performance of the contract after you expressly consented and confirmed that you lose your right of withdrawal by giving this consent. By purchasing and using the access code, you expressly agree that we begin performance before the withdrawal period expires and that you lose your right of withdrawal as a result.

9. Privacy

Information about the processing of personal data is available in our Privacy Policy.

10. Final provisions

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, is Gilching, Germany.
